Lazy Lisbon Sunday

Lisbon is pretty quiet on a Sunday and there is not much to do, so today I decided to go for a walk. The thing is, when I first came to Portugal in 1990 I was a little 11-year-old who didn’t pay much attention to the sightseeing mum and dad forced me and Ebba to go to. And then there were the school excursions, but these were doomed to fail too.

So now that my time in Portugal is coming to an end I want to try to be more observant and take nice pictures so that on a rainy São Paulo day I can look at them and remember good times and bring a smile to my face. It’s so cool to walk around Lisbon as the city is full of small places that offer a glass of wine in the shade, or maybe a snack. It’s hard not to stop, but sometimes you just have to keep walking or, at least me, I would end up a whale. But I did have an ice cream 😀

After our walk I went to have my nails done at “Nails 4 Us”. Today I changed my color as well to an orangy-red, its nice but I prefer the one I had which had a touch of pink. Next time…

As a relaxing Sunday comes to an end, I have made myself a lonely dinner for one. It was supposed to be healthy, but then there was the sauce. Either way it was delicious! I am now relaxing on the sofa for a few hours before meeting some friends for a glass of wine.
