Cruising Day 15

WEDNESDAY 14 NOVEMBER

We have arrived to Sao Paulo, but first, a few words from Ilhéus and Rio de Janeiro.

Ilhéus was a nice and calm destination, we decided not to go sightseeing and just spend the day on the beach drinking coconut water. It was what we all needed after 12 days of only being able to swim in a pool. The ocean is priceless!

We spent one day navigating before our next destination which we spent packing a bit and a bit more relaxing by the pool.

Rio de Janeiro welcomed us with rain, and as we already know Rio from before we decided to just spend the day drinking coconut water by the beach. In the rain. As the weather was shit we went back to the ship by lunch and just did nothing. At this point, and with the weather being bad, all we want is arrive home!

Once in Santos, our final destination, we are pretty nervous about the police checking our bags. We brought a lot of wine and were not sure what they would say. Luckily there was such a long queue to get out that a police man randomly checked  peoples bags himself to hurry things up. We were chosen meaning we could avoid the X-rays. We got into our rental and drove home.
